5 de Mayo started with a simple belief: the best Mexican food isn't rushed. Our birria and barbacoa are braised low and slow so the meat practically falls apart — then we fold it into fresh tortillas and send it out to you.

We're a neighborhood spot at 4505 S May Ave, rooted in South OKC and proud of it. No frills, no shortcuts — just honest food made the way it should be.
